Maison des Vins holiday home South France with pool - Our opinion:
Last visited Jan 2020. What a lovely place to spend a relaxing stay in the South of France. The holiday home comes with a landscaped garden with a lawn, mature trees and Mediterranean plants. The private pool is ideal for lazing around and soaking up the sun.
Inside, the holiday home is spacious and comes with a bathroom for each bedroom. The holiday home is located a short walking distance to a good choice of restaurants, shops, banks, a pharmacy and the weekly market etc.

Close to Maison des Vins in Montagnac, you will find everything you need including, shops, banks, restaurants, a wine cave, cafes and bars, and on the edge of town the largest wine cooperative in France. If you are visiting without a car everything you need is at hand, and there is a good bus service to surrounding areas.
Montagnac is a 3 minute drive from the historic town of Pezenas, with its artisans, antique dealers and many restaurants. Fifteen minutes to the south brings you to wonderful Mediterranean beaches and north are the l`Herault mountains with grottos, rivers and scenic drives. To the west is Carcassonne and the Cathar fortresses and eventually Spain. In the east explore Provence with all its history, and on to the Riviera. There are many chateaus in the area where you can taste and enjoy the Languedoc wines. Outdoor markets abound in Montagnac and the surrounding villages.
Other transport
There is a TGV train station in Montpellier and Sete. There is a regular bus service between Montpellier and Montagnac.

Lovely property
Tell your client they have s lovely property. In fact it`s so lovely we wanted to know if we could it again for two weeks, August `19. Please could you let me know if it is available and if so could you reserve it for me.

Perfect for a family holiday
Myself, my wife and my daughter spent two great weeks at this house. The pool is warm as throughout the afternoon as it is in the sun. House has everything we needed and is extremely well equipped and designed. Montagnac is a wonderful town with nice bars and restaurants, I would thoroughly recommend this property.

Beautiful, restful house
This is a lovely house, nicely decorated with a super, modern kitchen and bright airy rooms. The garden is beautiful and the pool was big enough for the children to play happily for hours whilst we lounged on the decking - just take some mosquito spray if you go in summer! It is in the centre of a small town within easy walking distance of the boulangerie and a well-equipped Spar shop. The beach is about 20 mins away - we liked the sands at Marseillan Plage, although the beach town itself is nothing special. The great location of the house makes it easy to get to places like Carcassonne and Nimes. We also drove down to the Camargue without any difficulty. Montagnac is a quiet town, but friendly and we were lucky enough to be there for a local fete and made to feel very welcome. The local wines are excellent. We`d also recommend heading to nearby Pezenas to explore the old town, shops and restaurants. All in all a great stay which we were sad to leave.

Lovely holiday house.
We really loved the house. Lovely, spacious, beautifully decorated (trad meets Ikea – fantastic for a holiday home!), and the garden was so lush and gorgeous. An oasis. Great pool too. I would happy to re-hire the house another time.

A great house for families relax in and enjoy the region
This was a great holiday destination and the house and garden really gave us a great base to visit the surrounding area from and have somewhere to relax and enjoy family time in.
The house was perfect for us with two slightly older children (6 & 9). I wouldnt have been so comfortable if they were much younger because of the steps and easily accessed pool.
The house was clean and very well furnished, the pool was sparkling new and not too deep so the kids were very comfortable playing in and around it for hours, and the garden was lush so provided some great shade. The integral garage was also a really helpful convenience.
We found Montagnac to be a quite town where we enjoyed morning coffee in the square everyday and got all the provisions we needed from the supermarket. Pezanas is just 8 minutes down the road and that is where we tended to eat out in the evenings. It was also easy to reach Montpellier and the beaches.
We had great service from the house keeper and the neighbours were very friendly.
