The Moulin de Conas is a beautiful 5 bedroom Chateau to rent close to Pezenas in the South of France. The Chateau is located overlooking the Herault river in the beautiful Languedoc region of Southern France. The Chateau sleeps 10 comfortably in its 5 bedrooms.

The Moulin de Conas dates back to the 13th Century and was formerly used as the local water mill. Surrounding the chateau are vineyards and open fields. The Herault river is a popular spot for wild swimming and fishing. The Chateau is located just a couple of minutes to the historic town of Pezenas, one of the prettiest towns in the South of France.

Last Visited January 2023- This lovely river-side Chateau is truly a unique holiday experience. The beautiful Herault river is at your doorstop and perfect for swimming in or relaxing by. The whole building oozes with charm with many of its original features still in tact. It is located just a few minutes from the popular town of Pezenas, and is within easy access to the beach, restaurants and many activities.

The Moulin de Conas is located just 2kms from the historic French town of Pezenas, just on the outskirts of the ancient hamlet of Conas.

Pézenas is described in the Rough Guide as one of the most singularly beautiful towns in the French Southwest, and in addition to an important Saturday market, there are numerous events staged in the town during an extended season. While the old town with a good selection of shops and restaurants and its historic building trail is about 1km away, there is a large supermarket within 3 minutes walk.

The Moulin de Conas is within easy driving reach of long, sandy Mediterranean beaches (Marseillan Plage 24km) and has quick access to the A9 and A75 autoroutes, providing fast links to the many attractions abounding in the Languedoc-Roussillon and Cevennes areas.
