Chateau for rent in France - facilities

The Chateau is laid out over 3 floors and there is a small elevator and grand stone staircase connecting all the floors. 

Ground floor

• The impressive entrance hall provides access to the dining hall, drawing room and the beautiful sweeping stone staircase. There is a guest toilet off the hall, as well as an elevator.
• The dining hall comes with a huge stone fireplace and a long dining table that can seat up to 16 people.
• Next to the dining hall there is the original 'old hall' of the Chateau, a place for festive banquets and musical & theatre performance. One of the Grand pianos is situated in the hall.
• The large kitchen features an oak fitted kitchen with an extended copper hood over the stove, a lovely oak table and exposed beams. The kitchen is equipped with 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, a gas hob, a microwave, large fridge and freezer and plenty of cooking utensils. The kitchen provides access out onto the terrace.
• Next to the kitchen there is a pantry, with a double sink and washing machine.
• The very large drawing room features a beautiful carved fireplace, large sofa and 2 armchairs.
• Next to the drawing room there is a music room featuring another grand piano. The room provides access out onto the terrace.

First floor

• There is a games room with sofas, armchairs and a TV.
• Bedroom 1 is the Master bedroom of the Chateau and it has an impressive four-poster double bed. There is a dressing room (with a single bed) and an en suite bathroom located in the turret tower, which has a bath, sink and WC.
• Bedroom 2 is a double bedroom with antique wardrobe, chest of drawers, table and chairs. The bedroom also has a dressing room (with 2 additional single beds) and an en suite bathroom with small bath, double wash basins and WC.
• Bedroom 3 comes with a lovely antique French double bed, large wardrobe and a small en suite bathroom (bath, sink and WC)
• Bedroom 4 is an impressive double bedroom with en suite bathroom (with small bath, sink and WC)
• Bedroom 5 is a single bedroom.
• Bedroom 6 is a small single bedroom with an en suite shower room (with wash basin and WC).

Second floor

• Bedroom 7 is a small single bedroom.
• Bedroom 8 is a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom (containing a shower, wash basin and WC).
• Bedroom 9 is a small single bedroom.
• Bedroom 10 is a large room which contains a double bed, single bed and cot. There is an en suite bathroom located in the turret tower, which has a free-standing bath, sink and WC.
• There is an additional bathroom on this floor (for Bedroom 7 and 9) which has a shower, sink and WC.

Pigeonnier lodge

Just a short distance from the main Chateau, you will find the lodge which provides for 2 further bedrooms. The lodge is ideal for families with small children or Grandparents who want their own space.

• The open plan living room on the ground floor has exposed beams and stone walls. The kitchen comes with a gas hob, electric oven, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. There is a good range of cooking utensils, plates, cutlery and glasses. Next to the kitchen there is a dining table and and a couple of armchairs.
• Bedroom 1 is a double bedroom on the top floor of the lodge. It has an en-suite bathroom with WC and washbasin.
• Bedroom 2 is located on the first floor and comes with 2 single beds.
• The bathroom is located on the ground floor and has a full sized bath with shower attachment, wash basin and WC. The washing machine is also located in the bathroom.

Outside

• The Château has a large heated swimming pool (15m x 6m) with sun terrace with sun loungers.
• There is a terrace with pleasant views. The terrace comes with a large patio table and chairs and there is further garden furniture and a barbeque.
• There is a recently installed flood-lit hard tennis court.

Château de Lamostonie for rent France - prices

Château de Lamostonie can be rented on a weekly basis between May to October. The normal minimum stay is 7 nights. The rental prices are purely for residential accommodation only. Additional charges may apply for hosting large events (such as weddings, corporate events, etc.). Pets may be accepted through prior agreement.
