The apartments enjoy a wonderful view over the Etang de Thau (local lagoon) out towards the sea and over to the port town of Sete in the distance. These luxury apartments in South France are located at the entrance to the lovely harbour of Marseillan and are conveniently located for the local restaurants, shops and markets.

These luxury apartmenta have been converted from an ancient wine store and each has a balcony or terrace. All the apartments are air-conditioned in the summer and heating in the cooler months.
This luxury apartment comprises about 65sq metres of living accommodation and has 2 bedrooms. The lovely open plan living area comes complete with a fully-equipped kitchen, a dining table and a comfortable lounge area. French windows open out to the top floor terrace and there are two sun loungers with a table and sun umbrella.
- The living room is beautifully designed and decorated and offers a high level of comfort. The lounge area has a comfortable sofa together with a flat screen satellite TV receiving mainly French channels, a DVD player and Bose iPod dock.
- The fully equipped kitchen comes with a ceramic hob, multifunction oven, dishwasher, kettle and electric coffee maker, toaster, cookware and kitchen utensils including an iron and ironing board.
- A washing machine and dryer are located in a separate laundry area on the ground floor, available to guests.
- Bedroom one is a double room with a king size bed (180cms x 200cms).
- Bedroom two is a twin bedroom ( 2 x 90cms x 200cms).
- Both bedrooms are air-conditioned and stylishly decorated. They enjoy access to the terrace which has views over the Etang de Thau.
- There is one bathroom which comes with a washbasin, a bath with a shower fixture and a WC.
As well as a staircase all the apartments are accessible by a lift. There is free street parking available to the side and rear of the apartments. If you wish to use the secure on-site underground car park, please note the spaces are for small and medium size cars; they are not suitable for large cars and 4 x 4´s.

The prices for these luxury apartments South France, are weekly and include the utility costs. The end of stay cleaning is included in the rental price except for the kitchen which you are requested to clean before departure. Bed and Bathroom Linen are included in the rental price. A WiFI internet connection is available for use with your own laptop. There is no charge for the WiFi.?Baby Facilities: A cot and a high chair for a baby is available for rental upon request.

Last visited: October 2019. These wonderful luxury apartments in Marseillan, South France, are the perfect accommodation for a relaxing beach holiday. With a terrace overlooking the Etang du Thau and conveniently located for the local restaurants, shops and markets, these luxury apartments are sure to book up quickly for the summer holiday period. Marseillan is a very pleasant and attractive small town, one of the few remaining unspoilt harbours in the South of france, lying close to the sea but not on it. These luxury apartments are located very close to the lovely historic port area, which has shops, restaurants and the very interesting Noilly Prat distillery.The fine sandy beach is just 10 minutes away by car.
A wide range of water sports is available at several coastal resorts in the region, including sailing, scuba diving, wind surfing etc. A very good golf course is located at Cap d´Agde.
There´s a wealth of things to see and do in this area. For example in Sete you can see the water jousting tournaments in July and August. Alternatively you can hire a boat at various locations on the Canal du Midi, A day to trip to Pezenas is always worthwhile. This is a fascinating place full of history and was where Moliere wrote some of his plays. For nightlife and nightclubs visit Cap d´Agde.
The market in Marseillan is held on a Tuesday morning. Sunday is the day for the flea market at Marseillan Plage. There are many lovely restaurants for you to enjoy in Marseillan Port and you can find more details of these at the Reception desk. Seafood is a local speciality and should be tried and enjoyed! There are many small shops in Marseillan including a supermarket. You will find a larger hypermarket in Agde or in Sete.
Other transport
You can take the Eurostar from London via Lille or Paris. You can then catch the TGV to Montpellier or Agde (about 10 mins away by car).

From the north coast of France it is approximately 620 miles to Marseillan by Autoroute, with a driving time of around 10hrs (can be driven in a day). The Toll Free A75 takes you from Clermont Ferrand, on a beautiful drive through the Mountains, via the spectacular Millau viaduct. It is a great drive all the way down to the Mediterranean.

Beautiful Marseillan and Port Rive Gauche just what we needed after a gloomy Irish Spring. We have visited PRG before several times and have to keep coming back, the holiday switch comes on as soon as you arrive - fantastically located apartments right on the waterfront. We had a 2 bed top floor apartment with private terrace ideal for outdoor living. All the apartments are decorated in a relaxed French style in soft warm colours, beautiful linens and comfortable furnishings. I think it might be time to visit again.

Fantastic apartment to stay in!
Myself and three friends stayed at PRG for 10 days summer 2017. We all felt the apartment was adequate for our group and we felt very comfortable while we stayed there as the apartment has a quite spacious layout and two large rooms with plenty of storage. The decor is modern and in keeping with the local french style and has beautiful opening white french doors onto the balcony that lets in the sun and some sea air should the day become too warm. The balcony and views from it are amazing - we ate every breakfast, lunch and dinner out on the balcony and spent many hours lazing with books in the sun when we were not at the beach. Having a kitchen was a big plus as this allowed us to visit local markets to buy food and wine produced in the area and bring our finds home to cook and enjoy on the balcony while watching the sunset every evening over the sea outside the apartment. The area the apartments are located is safe and quiet. We parked our car on the street a few nights and there was no problem doing this. The safe feeling can be said for the entire town. We found the locals very helpful and accommodating to us as visitors - helping us with suggestions for day trips around the region and even helping us book a dinner reservation in a neighbouring town. The town itself has many little cafe`s and restaurants so you can pop into one as you saunter around for a small coffee and pastry when you feel like it. When we stayed we found many activities to do in the town itself like visiting the Nolly Prat museum or catching the weekly antiques sale held on the square beside the boat marina or even using the promenade walkway to take in the views of the town and the sea. A very beautiful relaxing holiday made even better by having such a fantastic apartment to stay in.
