I stayed at this rental property for 2 weeks during August 2019. What a charming place to stay, it is a property full of character, with wonderful exposed natural stone walls and the decor was classic and modern in style. The were many an enjoyable night spent sipping the local wine and dining under the vine on the lovely terrace. It provided an ideal base for our trip to south of France with ample accommodation for a family. It is nestled in a lovely quiet town just a 10 minute drive to the beach or a lovely cycle along the canal. The town is well serviced with all the necessary requirements one would need. It is in a very safe location we had no trouble at all in the property or in the area. I would recommend this property for a quiet romantic escape to a little piece of heaven. Very close to Beziers airport so it was ideal for us. Lots of places to visit with good pubs and fabulous restaurants located a stroll from the house, and a market on Sundays in the village centre was super. A must see !! Overall I`d recommend it highly, I`m looking forward to returning next year once again.

The accommodation in the second oldest house in the village is filled with character and all creature comforts for our mixed ages of guests. We ate all our meals including breakfast on the terrace, much to the surprise of the locals. Great choice of boulangeries, beauty parlours in abundance and Thierry bar a great place for coffee the morning, bio wine any time and interesting music at some weekends. Enjoyed by my daughter and friend. A short hop on a bicycle or a pleasant walk( approx2 Km) to La Gambille in the evening for informal dinner and good music on weekend mixing with visitors from barges on the canal. Easy access to many places of interest including Pezenas amazing Brocante, Montpellier old quarters for Arts Museums quirky shopping and more. Carcassonne 60 mins away. Collioure Banyul under two hours and many, many more places of interest if energised, and if not local beaches within bicycle distance and tempting places to have snack lunch coffee or more.
